First, I would like to congratulate all the provinces for their hard work this fall. Although nothing will replace in-person professional development, the amount of amazing quality online conferences offered across the country was astounding. A special congratulations to Newfoundland for hosting the Atlantic Regional Conference. It is truly inspiring to see what everyone has accomplished in this difficult time. Bravo!
The CMEA has been busy this fall, hosting our online full board meetings in October and our AGM. We are excited to be offering provincial professional development funding once again this year, as well as focusing our efforts on equity, including reconciliation and translation services. We have also put out a call for a new journal editor and editor for the next book in the Research to Practice series. For those of you returning to in-person performances, I wish you the best. And to all our members this holiday season, have a wonderful and restful break.
