President’s Message
Greetings from Treaty 1 territory! I am thrilled to be taking over the presidency and want to thank our outgoing board members for all their hard work over the years. As we forge ahead into the 4th wave of COVID-19, I am in awe of the resiliency, creativity, and passion I have seen from Music Educators across the country in the last 18 months. While some of us are returning to regular instruction, many members are still battling to ensure they can safely deliver their programs. The CMEA is here to support you and to assist in networking with your colleagues across the
country. All of our provincial organizations are providing excellent online professional development. Take a moment to check out what each province has to offer over the next two months,
including the Atlantic Regional Conference. Best wishes in conference season and I look forward to connecting with you all over the next two years.
